Puri Khaja
250G · PURI, ODISHA

Timeless flavours from Odisha,
crafted with pride.
The Philosophy
Odisha has fed pilgrims, kings and neighbours for a thousand years. Aavare exists to keep that knowledge intact — the same hands, the same patience, the same ingredients — and to present it with the restraint and clarity the modern world deserves.

Signature
Crisp. Layered. Timeless.
Sixty-four folds of wheat and ghee, rested, rolled and fried slow until each leaf separates. Finished in cane syrup, never cloying. It is the sweet Puri has offered for centuries — and the sweet Aavare begins with.
The Heritage
Our recipes come from the kitchens and lanes around the temple town of Puri, where food has always been an act of devotion and of craft. We work with families who have made these sweets for generations, paying for their time rather than their speed.
What changes is only the frame: cleaner packaging, honest labelling, cold-chain care, and a design language that lets the craft speak without ornament.

The Collection

The Craft
A recipe kept alive in Puri for generations.
Stone-milled wheat, pure ghee, cane sugar.
Sixty-four folds, rested and fried slow by hand.
Sealed crisp in emerald and gold, never plastic-first.
Delivered within days of the day it was made.

Puri
In Puri, food has never been ordinary. It is prepared in earthen pots, carried in cane baskets, shared without question. Khaja was born in that culture of offering — made to travel, made to keep, made to be given away. Aavare carries that gesture outward: from a coastal town in Odisha to tables anywhere in the world.
Gifting
